THE DAUGHTER OF THE DEVIL

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

My name is Melanie Jacobs. I'm not your average girl. My dad is a shady billionaire, the CEO of multiple companies, and unfortunately the devil himself...which pretty much makes me the daughter of the devil. My life is pretty simple. I go to school, deal with the school bitches, get through my classes, stick with my gang, cope with my problems, pretend I'm not hurting inside, pretend nothing bothers me, pretend that it doesn't hurt that others fear me just because they know that I'm the devil's daughter, and I pretend I don't hear people talking about me behind my back. I hate my dad, pretend that he isn't there, and that he doesn't scare me. I pretend to be strong, when really I feel like I'm crumbling inside and just want to just let it all come out, which in all real honesty wouldn't be good for anybody. I pretend to hate everyone, and put a fake face on and hide all my emotions, just, you know...the usual things that nobody should have to go through. But then he showed up and my whole world changed. He's not afraid of me. He cares about me and something about him just makes everything feel like it's going to be okay. He's amazing! I love being around him and I can tell he likes being around me too, but lately he's started distancing himself, and things just got worse for me. Now he's gone and I'm losing all control.

-Introduction-

Melanie’s POV

It was senior year at Lakeville High, and I had no clue what to wear. Being the daughter of a billionaire is pretty great, except for when it comes to getting ready, and figuring out what to wear. I walked into my closet and looked for a pair of pants to wear, a shirt, shoes and anything else I think will look great. After spending about 20 minutes looking for something to wear, I decided to go with my black ripped skin tight jeans, with a red and black plaid shirt tied around my waist, a long sleeved black fishnet crop-top, black boots with spikes, and my black leather jacket. I walked out the closet and into the bathroom to put on my dark red lipstick, and bold black mascara. I brushed my dark brown hair until it was silky softy. Once I decided I was ready, I grabbed my bag, my phone, and the keys to my bike, and left. I didn’t stop to say goodbye to my father. I couldn’t care less if he knew where I was, or not, or if he saw me. I had no feelings for him…after all it was his fault that I am who I am.

Once I left the house I put my sunglasses on, got on my motorcycle, and left for school. I loved riding that bike. I felt free each time I sat on the seat, and I loved the way the wind blew in my hair, and the feel of it against my face. It took me 45 minutes to get to school, and once I drove into the parking lot I saw my gang. All of their bikes were lined up next to my parking spot, only there was one problem…some 2019 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible had parked in MY spot. Everyone in the school knew that it was my spot. Everyone knows who I am. Nobody ever messes with me. They never try to piss me off, and they certainly never fight me. They know I run the school, and anyone who bullshit’s me is going to regret it, even the teachers knew that. They all know whose boss, so whoever had parked in my spot obviously had a death wish! Luckily my gang knew about my spot being taken and left an empty space for me at the front of their line. I parked my bike grabbed my bag and headed for the school, leaving behind a trail of smoking black ash on the ground. I was pissed off, and everyone around me knew this. Everyone immediately got out of my way, everyone except for one particular group of people. I knew them, and had many problems with them, but I couldn’t do anything about them, because of the business that their father’s have with mine. Oh, all the wonderfully awful, joyfully painful, and gloriously gruesome things I could do to them, but can’t sadly.

“Oh look who it is!”

“Shut the hell up Angelica! I’m pissed off right now, so I don’t think you want to mess with me!” I said.

“Let me guess, you came to what? See if it was one of us? HA! Please, we wouldn’t be caught dead near your dirty grimy spot! For all we know it’s probably got some curse on it!” Angelica said followed by laughter from her and her little group.

Chop off their heads…Cut their tongues out…Turn their bodies inside out…Chain them down and bu---MELANIE!!! WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT CURSING MY CLIENTS’ KIDS!!! I CAN HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS TOO!!! KNOCK IT OFF NOW MELANIE!!!

OR WHAT DAD!! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO ME!! I’m already cursed; now…do me a favor, and GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!

When I came back from my little “chat” with my “loving” father I realized I was too late to ruin Angelica’s life. Her group already left, leaving me in my anger. Lucky for them though, the bell rang, so I didn’t have time to go looking for them.

I made it to my first period right when the bell rang, and I was just about to sit down when I heard my name called on the P.A. system, “MELANIE JACOBS PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE! MELANIE JACOBS PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE!”

Shit! What did I do this time?! That old hag is just asking for trouble right now!

The moment I walked into Mr. Johnson’s office I saw another kid sitting in a chair with his back towards me. He looked about my age, dark brown hair, and looked like he didn’t want to be here, at all!

“Ah! Just the girl I was looking for! Ms. Jacobs please have a seat.” Mr. Johnson said.

When I sat down I was able to see him clearly, and I froze.
