Just Another Day

Saturna takes a deep breath and exhales letting a smirk adorn her face. She admires the damage she is causing, as she stands on the outskirts of the forest. This. This is her purpose in life. Raising havoc on the town that wronged her.

0

The fire roared, swallowing more and more trees by the second. On the surface it doesn't seem like a major problem but for a place like Satellite Bay, that's surrounded by the forest, a fire of this degree could burn the whole town to the ground.

0

Her smirk curved down into a look of disgust as she heard a familiar voice. "Saturn, you never learn your lesson do you?" Said a deep voice in a cocky tone. "It's Saturna, and don't talk to me as if this were a pleasant greeting." Her eyes now landing on Dax, his jet black hair falling to the side and his piercing grey eyes glaring at her in amusement.

0

With a flick of her wrist she sent a flicker of fire in his direction. Just as fast as it traveled through the air, he vanished. He reappeared behind her and slipped a single handcuff onto her wrist, before she sent an elbow to his stomach. She pushed away from him and now it was her who cockily grinned.

0

"I know you can do a lot better than that Dax, come on." She grabbed the handcuff and with a single touch she melted it into nothingness. While she was distracted by this small detail, Dax took the opportunity to send a chilling blast towards the fire. A gasp escaped her lips and she tried to summon more fire but the chill was much too ahead of her own blast.

0

Once the fire was completely extinguished, Saturna glared at Dax is utter disgust. "You always manage to ruin my plans Dax, it gets pretty tiring." She placed her hands on her hips and assessed the damage. Plenty of trees had burned down but not enough to make a difference. Displeased as she was she fixed her eyes back on Dax and anger bubbled up inside her.

0

In a swift motion she teleports behind Dax. She gets close enough to him that he can feel her breath against his neck. "Next time I won't go so easy on you. This town will burn to the ground." She uttered through gritted teeth. When he had turned to respond, she had already vanished. He cursed under his breath and rushed towards nearby citizens.

0

Saturna was now in her apartment. Not an ideal place someone would imagine for a villain but it's all she has. She made her way to her bedroom and changed out of her usual outfit; a black bodysuit, thigh height boots, black gloves, and a black face mask that covered everything but her mouth. Who said you couldn't look good while being bad. She let her hair loose from the ponytail she kept it in, and headed for the shower. After so much planning, she finally made some progress and he came and ruined it all. It's always been this way. 'Not for long' she thought.

0

Dax had to deal with all the citizens. Their questions, the press, their comments, all of it. They didn't waste any time. Once Saturna had vanished a group of press bombarded him.

0

"What really happened here Dax?"

0

"Saturna and her usual evil plans, set a few trees on fire but nothing I can't handle."

0

"Where is she now?"

0

"I'm not quite sure, but I'm sure we'll see her again."

0

"Why don't you ever capture her?"

0

"Well I- "

0

"She always gets away. Don't you ever plan to truly put a stop to all of this?"

0

"I plan to put a stop to her soon. She'll be behind bars before you know it"

0

He answered confidently and winked into the camera flashing his award winning smile.

Quenda: Overall a good story. Looks like it is in need of a good proof reader as it contradicts itself at times...but overall a good story.
