Intro

″Come on it’s time for bed″ The young lady spoke to her 8-year-old son who was busy putting up a fight against the tall broad man standing in the bedroom.

″Aw Dawran was teaching me how to fight″ he whined as his mother swept him off the ground into her hands. The little boy his hair became a mess having the man ruffle his hair all over the place allowing the room to fill with laughter.

″There is always another time boy″ The man who goes by the name of Dawran smiled. His eyes turned on the lady shooting her a small smile as well.

″Goodnight my lady″ he bowed as she did the same wishing him a goodnight rest.

Tossing the child playfully on the bed he didn’t hesitate to snuggle up against his mother who took a seat on the bed resting her back against the headboard.

″When I’m older Dawran is going to teach me how to wield a sword″ the little boy spoke but his voice softened at the end as his mother stroked his hair in comfort.

″Dad promised he would teach me how to wield a sword.......″ he muttered in a soft tone causing the room to fall into a sad silence...and the atmosphere became heavy. His mother stayed quiet continuing her stroking to comfort her son.

″I miss dad″ the young boy added before burying his face against his mother’s chest.

″I miss him too″ the lady finally spoke up.

″He was always going out fighting bad guys.....he promised he would come back″

The poor thing was well aware of the fact that his father died during a mission, where he encountered battle with Infernals.

″I thought Infernals were good people. Dawran is one too! And there are many more everyone lives together. Why did they have to.....hurt dad″ Just remembering that day brought back painful feelings causing him to press his body up against his mother’s seeking comfort.

″Sweetie....not everyone is good, even humans aren’t. Back in the past Humans and Infernals never lived in harmony as they do today. In fact, our kind tried to get rid of them″ His mother spoke causing a spark of curiosity to appear in the young boy his eyes.

″Really?″ He questioned as he looked his mother in the eye. She smiled at her son who still had a lot to learn about the world. Her fingers gently get rid of his bangs covering his eyes.

″Let me tell you a story″ she spoke causing the boy to instantly crawl between her legs seating himself there, facing her.

″What kind of story?″ He asked while he played impatiently with his fingers.

″A true story″

″About?″ he asked as he tilted his head to the side. His mother smiled once again before lightly pinching his cheek noticing how impatient he became.
