I run downstairs trying not to step on all the broken fragments of glass from all the pictures that I broke of me and him and open the door.

“Hello?” I peer through the small crack from the door and too see the mailman standing there.

“Oh hello Rihanna. I heard glass shattering and screaming I thought that I should call the police!”

“Oh, that was me... I broke a... picture frame and stepped on it accidentally and screamed because of ... the pain?“I was never good at lying but this lie seems to be believable.

“Okay, Rihanna. Here’s the Weekly Weekly article. Have a nice day!” With that, the mailman left me all alone on the porch. All alone again, back to square one. I brush that off my mind for a sec and flip through the articles and see “Alexa this...“, “Alexa that...” then I see somthing that I should have never seen. “Alexa Wood is dating famous pop-star singer Connor Haynes!!” That Bitch! She kissed him first then starts dating him like he’s her’s?!? I tried to think of a logical reason for this because I knew that C would never date a spoiled brat like her, but I just couldn’t think of one.

I walk over to the kitchen sink and tear up all the articles and left them there like he did to me 2 we- Ding, Dong!

“I swear if you’re the mailman again I will-” I open the door carefully to see a dark figure towering over me. A familiar arm touched my shoulder and bend down too look at me in the eyes.

“Ri-Ri... I missed you baby” I look at him in the eyes. Oh, It’s my totally not just cheated on me boyfriend, Connor Haynes.

“Don’t touch me!” I slap his hand away feeling his once was mine baby-soft hands that became hard and tough at touch hands.

“Baby... You know that I love you and only you.” He looked into my eyes. I felt nothing at all looking at his eyes filled with guilt and empathy. I felt nothing.

“Go back to your girlfriend. I don’t want anything to do with you at all.” And with that note, I closed the door shut and cried. Cried my heart out until my eyes turned red as blood and were swollen like a bee sting. I cried all night just for him...

“Wake up, Rihanna. What happened when I was gone? I came home at 5 in the morning and found you on the ground with swollen eyes.” I looked up to see Violet hovering over me holding a small glass of water.

“Nothing happened” I responded plainly. Just the thought of telling Violet would worse than running the mile in 100 degrees weather.

“Okay... I’ll question you later, but first, check what’s on the table” I glance over at the table in the tiny corner in my room and see a letter labeled for me. I look around the room searching for a mirror and once I see one I look into my eye. “Yep, still blue and green, great,” I think to myself. I always hoped that I’ll wake up one day to see that I have same colored eyes as other people, but nope I had to be born with “these beautiful” eyes.

“What’s on the table this time? It better not be another prank!” I teased Violet. We both love a good prank and will do anything to prank each other good. I walk over towards the table and see that it’s labeled for Rihanna Amethyst from...

"Oh sorry that's my phone, Vi-vi" I flip out my phone and see all the texts that I missed from Connor. Wow, about 50 messages. I scroll all the way to the bottom and freeze.
