-New York Hospital, October 14, 2014-
As Leon lay on his hospital bed, reading the information of his next target, a woman suddenly came into his room. Irritation came all over his body.
As far as he remembered he advised the nurse not to disturb his rest. As he examined the woman, he could say that she might be a policewoman.
“What the--- who are you?! Aren’t you informed that no one is allowed to enter to my room!?”
Disregarding the anger Leon was trying to show the woman, she just calmly walk near him and smiled. A smile that is not pleasing enough.
“Good afternoon Mr. Rizzoli, I’m Detective Isabela.” she said as she showed her ID “The Police Office sent me to question you regarding the incident happened yesterday evening.” on him. And then she pointed to Leon’s wound on his arm.
“Didn’t you hear me? I believe it clearly means that no one should disturb me.”
“I’ll only entertain a few questions. After that you’ll have to answer mine”
He said with his arms crossed and raising his eyebrows. Isabela looked unimpressed. Discouraged, Leon took her seriously.
“Look, the guy attacked me and I just did self-defense.” Leon said. “Sir, the man got 7 stitches and got discombobulated. Would you still call that self-defense?”
Leon sighed, feeling irritated, by this time he could be off killing people right now, instead he’s stuck in the hospital.
Isabela continued with her questions and Leon felt bored.
-
“Okay, that’s all Mr. Rizzoli, thank you for your time.” Isabela said as she stood up gently and gathered her things.
“Wait, I still have questions to ask you right?” he said with a vicious smile. Isabela just frowned, still unimpressed at him.
“Do you live alone?”
She just raised her eyebrows and looked at him in confusion. “Are you for real?” she asked with a hint of shock.
“A question should be answered. Not to be asked by another one.” He stated. “Yes.” Isabela answered, she felt defeated. “I believe that is a personal question.” She said, annoyed by the man in front of her.
“I believe that doesn’t answer my question.” He answered mockingly.
“I- I don’t know who he is” she stared into his hazel brown eyes as she answered his question.
Leon felt that she became uncomfortable talking about her father. He diverted his eyes away from her gaze and asked her another question.
“What’s the address of your working station?”
Wanting to end her discussion with Leon, she answered all his questions fast, but his last question struck her.
“Where do you prefer dining? At Seven Queens or at Alfonso’s?”
That made her jaw drop. Why would he ask such personal questions? That’d only be the case if he was hitting on her. And then she realized, he was hitting on her.
“Alfonso’s food is sublime but people say Seven Queens has a special taste.” Still shocked, Isabela’s phone suddenly rang and it was her co-worker calling. “Sorry I have to go.” Isabela said as she rushed to the door, leaving Leon.
