It was a hushed evening. Everything is still and at peace. The faint smell of the rain lingered in the air from the open window which somehow gives the feeling of comfort and at ease. It was quite breezy outside leaving a small shiver from my body. The cactus on the window was probably cold too, it began wilting these past few days, probably because of absent care.

The fairy lights that hanged at the end of my bed twinkled like the stars up above reflecting a yellowish light across the dim room.

Since the past few weeks, I somehow managed to gain inspiration on writing my own autobiography, but not even the slightest idea came along to visit my brain leaving me baffled on what to write. I wanted to become a writer someday with a high salary so I could maybe buy a new cactus and name it cat. Right now I could start off small, maybe write on a notebook then publish it online to get attention, then maybe I could grow. But right now I couldn't seem to find the right words. I feel stuck.

My black inked pen taps on the cream colored paper of my leather journal leaving a small rhythm. I tried to stay focus but not even a single thought came up.

My eyes began to feel droopy as a feeling of tiredness washes over my body. I yawned making a small sound escape mouth.

I looked at the wall clock hanging near the hanging plants.

It's 8:21

It's still a bit early, but thinking made me a bit tired. My somnolent eyes averted to the window in front me, setting aside the languorous feeling as I continued to think.

I scrutinized at the never ending sky making me think it'd go deeper by minute. The mesmerising stars scattered like glitters across the sky as it twinkle making it more fascinating.

Just as I continue to stare at the night sky, I caught a glimpse of a shooting star. I paused and put my hands together making a whisper escape my lips, "Please make my life more thrilling."

Then there was a moment of silence before a small laugh was heard from my lips. To be honest, wishing on a shooting star was one of the most childish things I've done making me think twice if am I even mature enough. But wishing on a star was my only hope.

If only hanging diamonds in the dark tranquil sky could make dreams come true.
