Rise ~ Chapter one
In most typical teenage movies theirs always the two main characters. The "good" kid who tries to stay out of trouble and the mean kid who will just start picking on you for the sake of to boost up their own self esteem by making others feel like shit - sounds lovely. However I was that ' good ' kid until the tables turned and I became the ' mean ' kid. Well in others heads anyway.I still remember the way day as if it was yesterday , when MY whole world changed.
"Venelopy can you please work out the angle x?" I threw my head up from the desk as her words echoed. " Venelopy since you're our top student , please come up and show us how you did it. " She smiled while persuading me. "O..kay. " I muttered under my breathe while pushing my chair under the desk. I started making my towards the ol Victorian fashioned chalk board. I stood still. My Brain went blank like a white canvas. I blinked at the board with confusion and guilt. My head started spinning in circles as my vision went blurry. Memories had already taken over to haunt Me.
" MUM i don't understand! " I screamed while making my own ears go death. " You're a big girl you will figure it out! " She reassured me while stroking my head. " It's hard i can't - I GIVE UP. " I pushed away the book and crossed my arms. Her eyes widened in shock. I looked at her expecting the worst but instead she just smiled at me while trying not to chuckle at my misleading actions. " Do you want to walk away or try harder? " She whispered. I narrowed my eyes at her with one of my eyebrows arched. " The choice is yours..." She grinned at me with her dimples showing.
