Nelson

At dawn, Nelson had acted upon his decision but this was not the best, as it dawned on him that there was a greater battle ahead. He took into considerations none of the things that had made him happy. Up and about, he pulled the trigger!!

Nelson, the gentle boy who makes everyone smile, was only 11 when he had his first shatter. He had left home after the predicament; mom died and dad? Well, he was the cause of it all. Vanished without a trace, he was the prime suspect, i mean the actual culprit. But was he?

After 6 months in childcare service, Nelson found new parents. They loved and cherished him, without a doubt they were the true definition of parents he longed for. After seeing Nelson, the couple who had been married for 20 years made it clear to him that they were going to adopt and love him like a son. He didn’t know what to feel, he was happy, scared and unhappy, all at the same time. Even after the adoption process, he had mixed feelings about everything but he had no better choice.

Henry and Linda were the couples who had adopted Nelson, they understood the behaviours and tantrums he always displayed at different times.

They had 2 kids but lost them in a fire outbreak 6 years ago. 24 months after, they moved to Canada, hoping they’ll start over with no memories from the house, school, malls and anything that could taunt them.

The couple had agreed to the idea of adoption 4 years after the incidence but, they found no child who they connected with until they set eyes on Nelson.

The couple went back a week after they met with Nelson at the child's home. All necessary documents were signed and all procedures followed strictly.

Nelson was given a room filled with all the things he'll need; clothes, snacks, hero posters, books and other kinds of stuff. They wanted him to settle in comfortably and as quickly as he could, without going through so much heartache and trauma from the past.
