Chapter 1
I laid down next to mama as her ears swiveled listening for things to harm me. "Mama, where's daddy?" I asked tilting my head.
"Sweetie, daddy's at a meeting with his beta. He'll be back soon to see you pretty girl." She said soothing my worry. I laid my head on her stomach and waited for daddy.
Just then daddy came running out of the pack house to me and mama, "What's wrong Storm?" mama asked as daddy picked me up in his mouth then dropped me.
"Moonstar, rouges are on the territory from Wind Pack. We're out numbered. We need to get you both to safety." Daddy said and picked me up again as mama followed close behind.
"Storm, I'm going with you. I can't let you fight alone," she said nuzzling her muzzle into my stomach as daddy placed me in my bed in the Alpha house.
"Moonstar, you can't I don't want to loose you. You have Alice to take care of." Daddy fought trying to keep mama safe.
"Mama please listen to daddy, he wants you safe like me. Daddy, that goes for you too" I said whimpering.
"Alice, as the alpha I need to help fight. If I don't I could loose my role as alpha." He exclaimed and ran off before a word could slip out of either of our mouths.
Mama shifted back into her human form and picked me up. She put me down on the ground and taught me how to shift. I finally shifted back after 5 attempts.
I stood up and fell over, it was a hard fall so I started crying dramatically. "Oh Natalia, you're okay my Bella girl." She called me her beautiful girl? Is she leaving me too?
I stopped crying and fell asleep in her arms then I felt myself being placed onto my soft bed.
I woke up the next morning, it was my first birthday! I ran downstairs following the scent of pancakes and jumped into daddy's arms. "Happy Birthday princess!" He said and kissed my head. I ate all my pancakes as Beta Justin busted in.
"Alpha Jordan! Luna Scarlett is in danger! Wind Pack has struck again and this time kidnapped Luna Scarlett" Beta Justin yelled breathing heavily. Usually when they use their actual human names, it means there's really bad danger. "News from the battle captain says Wind Pack's Alpha is expecting you."
"Mama!!" I yelled and bursted into tears. Daddy scooped me up and hugged me tight.
"I'll be back in a second. Let me put Natalia down." Daddy exclaimed running up the stairs and putting me in his room with the TV remote.
"Oh Natalia my Bella girl. I'll be back I promise" he shouted back at me.
I decided to watch Sofia the First since me, mama, and daddy used to watch it together. I wrapped myself in a blanket as a female person came through the door.
"Hello little Natalia, I have come to take care of you. I'm Destiny, the pack nurse." She said and sat next to me. I scooched over and continued watching Sofia The First.
"Where's mama and daddy?" I asked Destiny.
"Well they're at a very very important meeting with a very important someone." She lied to me, I could tell.
I shifted into my wolf Alice and curled into a ball under the blanket and fell asleep.
I woke up at 5 and mama and daddy still weren't home so I went to look out the window. I thought they were downstairs so I went down there with Destiny. Nope. I tried to mind link with them but they blocked me out. I whimpered loudly and went back upstairs in daddy and mama's safe bedroom.
"Alice, don't worry. Luna Moonstar and Alpha Storm will be back in a few minutes." She took my hands reassuringly and I faked a smile.
Only daddy came back the next day, but he was in terrible condition. Destiny and I helped to his room. "Daddy! Are you okay!?" I asked yelling while crying.
He gripped my hand and rubbed my cheek. "Yes my Bella girl, mama couldn't be found." He said as Destiny fed him some medicine even though he was healing quite fast already. I held his hand and laid down next to him falling asleep. My wolf was purring and so was daddy's. Destiny was in the couch at the end of his bed just in case something happened.
