Has a lot of potential for a great story
"I really enjoyed reading this novel and i hope the writer keeps it going, i like where the story is going and am interested in how it develops and ends, but it really needs a direction to go at some point and needs a definitive ending. Overall a really good plot with great potential for continuing, i recommend it"
Great first chapter
"This was such a good way to start a story. The main character felt real, and the descriptions were in-depth without being over the top. I liked the way information was teased throughout the chapter, keeping the reader guessing without being confusing or frustrating. Solid start with a very interesting premise, already likable main character, and a down-to-earth writing style that makes the fantasy environment feel grounded and believable (a hard thing to do when the main character dies 7 times in the first chapter). This has done exactly what a first chapter should do; it's gotten me interested. I'll definitely keep reading. Update: I tore through four chapters of this in one sitting. A few minor technical errors aside, it is very well written so far. A great story with a wonderful main character and nice touches of humor."

"It was quite intriguing to see how this story played out. As someone whos a fan of Medieval/fantasy movies, games, etc... I loved the thought of Ben being a generic enemy realizing his only purpose is to be slayed by adventures. Ben the character himself was pretty relatable for a bandit. His quality of focusing on the present rather then the past or future, is a underrated quality."
