*Click* The camera makes a small noise as my family and I put on out best smiles. For a second I'm floating soaring through the sky,weightless like a feather. And then I'm brought back to cruel reality. The grunts my brother Leo makes as he punches the wall. My mother screaming at me for not winning a pageant I never cared about. My father was the only person in my family I could ever tolerate. He was............reserved. Trying not to engage with my brother. Or argue with my mother when she was salty about something. So i enjoyed the long quiet nights with him by the fireplace. Reading books..........books are the only thing that i can use to get away from the harsh personality and actions of my family. *Click* And the world grabs me back. My mom gives a from squeeze to my arm and through a smile says
"Smile"
