Chapter 1
JACKSON’S POV
I leave my mom crying in the bedroom. I need time to think. All my life I was thought to be the perfect one in the family and in school. Perfect grades. Oh why of course. Parents are amazing. Hell yea. Rich. More than enough. All i wanted was for my parents to pay attention to me. Hence why I was so “perfect”. I get in my black Ferrari. I was driving around the dark neighborhood, nothing but the sound of rain. When suddenly i pull over. I punch harshly at the steering wheel while crying hysterically. Why does my life have to be so fucked up? I think to myself. Let me rewind my day.
I get out of my math class ready to ho home.Jack comes to me and tells me we are having a student council meeting. As the president of the student council I had no idea but I should know.
“Alright I’ll see you later man.”I say.
“ Yea,have a good day.” Jack says.
I get in my ferrari driving to my house. I pick up my keys from the dashboard,put my backpack on my shoulder and enter the house. Suddenly I hear my mom screaming and saying “NO,STOP!!” What’s going on? I think. I climb up the stairs as fast as I can and enter my parent’s room. No one is there. I hear my mom saying NO again and I eneter my dad’s office. He always says nobody is allowed in there. I enter and see my dad with his hair messy and smeared lipstick on all over him. A blonde girl with barely any clothes was standing in the corner watching my dad, scared and crying. Then my heart breaks. I see my dad hitting my mom with his belt. I push my dad grab the belt and tell my mom to get out.
“MOM GET OUT NOW!!!” I say with barely any calmness. My dad punches me and runs out with the blonde chick. She doesn’t even look his age I think disgusted. I go looking for my mom. She must be so scared. I go to the kitchen and see her with her elbows on the marble countertop,head down and crying.
“ Mom, are you ok?Did you know dad was cheating on you? Whatever you need we can get through this together ok? I love you very much mom. Don’t worry everything will be ok.” I say almost crying. I can’t cry,I need to be strong for my mom.
