It has been such a long time...since the incident.
Wow, everything is happening so fast I can't believe I gave him a chance.
But everything has a start so let's go back from where it all started.
New Year's Eve...
'Hey Macy what's up?'
'Hey girl, nothing much just doing some unimportant stuff like...'
'NO! It's fine you don't have to tell me!'
'Sheesh get ahead of yourself girl, it's not that kind of unimportant stuff!'
'Oh, well I'm off to work bye now'
'But it's New Year's Eve'
'So?'
'So why not just not go to work like for once!?'
'Nah, not going to happen Macy!'
'Come on, I know it's hard but it's been years so it's time for some change and forget LISA JANE CARSONN!!!!!!!!'
'I gotta go bye!'
'Haaaa, bye...'
I'm such a fool to think that he would come back, it's highly predictable he never will...
But turns out, I was very very wrong!
You see I'm the CEO of LJC the largest tech company in America so yes I'm rich, very rich cuz I'm a multi millionaire. But that's not the point,when JC my beloved brother told me I had a meeting with a very successful CEO who owns another tech company I immediately agreed, well because it means there's a possibility of me being partners with whoever thet person was!
The company was a large tech investment not as big as mine but close enough. But JC never told me the name of the person and he was sick at the day of the meeting so I had to go without my PA.
I was so stupid to go to this meeting, but I already agreed and I can't turn back.
When I went inside the meeting room three old men and two ladies were sitting at the desk, but the CEO still wasn't present.
Then a familiar voice welcomed us.
"GoodMorning everyone welcome to our presidential meeting!"
"Greetings to you Mr.Scott..."
Then my blood curdled all of the sudden.
I couldn't speak or even say a word I was transfixed, a sudden expression washed my face an expression of an angry heartbroken person who just feels exceedingly betrayed by someone she trusted and loved.
"I uh Ahem GoodMorning"
I straightened up and tried to look as fine as I can...
After the meeting, I rushed to pack my stuff...But.
"Miss Carsonn please meet me in my office I would like to talk to you"
He said it so calmly like he doesn't know me at all, like I'm a stranger to him.
"Sure..."
That was it!!?? That was all I had to say to him!!!? UGH!!!!
In the office...
"Lisa...Nice to see you again!"
Then my blood went cold and curdled, again! How dare he greet me as if nothing happened at all as if everything was okay!!!!!!? I knew that he knew everything between us was not alright, at all..!
But he had to stay calm as possible because he has a dicease...At least that was what everyone thought.
