"I read the first book a few years ago so I didn't really remember the details of it and I have to reread the whole thing but it's not a waste of time. Really. It was refreshing to see Thea and Fendrel again! I love the slow burn romance! I love the twist! It didn't really occur to me that the dragon might not be the dragon they've been serving for and helping for. It was just simply fantastic! It was also heart breaking to see characters loose their lives, especially the death of Aestus (it's kinda silly that he had to wait for himself to be injured badly before he told Thea that he is Aestus tho). One thing the writer could improve is the shifting of the charaters' point of view because it's kinda confusing to know whose point of view I am reading."
