Our story begins with a group of teenagers, living a normal life. Or so they thought. What they didn’t know is that soon, they’d all be playing a game. Friend versus friend. All their dirty little secrets will start to be revealed; whether they like it or not. Best friends will become enemies; turning on each other.

Friday; October 30, 2018.

A smile on her plump, pink-colored lips. Her bright white teeth, appearing from behind her lips, the sound of her laughter carrying on down the hall. Heads perk up, looking her way. Once she realizes that all eyes are on her, she puts her head down; letting her long purple locks cover her face. Sophia has always been a shy girl. She never liked being in the spotlight; she never thinks about herself, and always puts others before her.

She grabbed her bag from inside her locker, stuffing her school things inside. Everyone still watches her, as she shuts her locker door quietly. Making her way down the hallway towards the school’s front doors. Before she can make it through the doors, the body of a boy quickly steps in front of her, blocking her path. There was no way around, and no time to stop. Sophia toppled into the boy, sending them both crashing to the floor.

The boy landed on his back, causing the wind to be knocked out of him. Sophia came next falling on top of the boy. Since she had no time to see who the boy was, Sophia looked up at his face. Gasping; she stood up, muttering apologies. The boy she had just crushed was Levi Young, her crush. Sticking out her hand to him, lowering her head down to look at the floor, as she felt a hand in hers, she averted her gaze to her hand, where Levi’s was placed in hers. She worked out when no one was around, so she had no trouble helping him up.

She put her head down for the third time. A few seconds, a hand was placed under her chin, gently lifting her head up so she’s looking into a pair of sad green eyes.

“Why do you wear makeup? You look stunning without out it.”

His words were laced with kindness as he said these words to me. Never in a million years would I expect to hear anything like that be said to me. “I guess I just want to fit in, and maybe I thought you would like me better if I was like the other girls.”

“You were perfect and I loved that about you, you didn’t have to change for me or for anyone.”

I looked at him with kind eyes and smiled.

“Thank you.”

My palms started to sweat, looking down I noticed that his hand never left mine. When Levi noticed me looking at our intertwined fingers, he gave my hand a squeeze, reassuring that he was there for me. I looked up and he smiled warm-heartedly at me. Using our intertwined hands to advantage, he pulled me into his warm embrace, hugging me tightly to his chest.

“You’re perfect,” he whispered in my ear, his warm breath against my neck, sending chills to cover my body. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I pull myself closer to him, our bodies intertwined as one.

We stayed like that for a few minutes before Levi pulled away, my body losing any warmth that it had. I yearned for his touch, his body against mine.

“Levi?” I asked grabbing his arm before he could walk away.

He turned and looked at me. “What is it?” He tucked a piece of stray hair behind my ear, letting the back of his hand stroke my cheek. I put my hand over his, leaning into his touch. I stood up on my tiptoes, placing my lips against his.

Once again, he parted from me. His lips lingering for a second before fully pulling away.
