Chapter 1
“Doo doo doo” My very loud alarm clock was going off.... As I laid there for a few minutes hoping it would just stop on it’s own so I wouldn’t have to go to school today, but as always my mom came barging in my room waking me up
“Linsey time for school!” She shouted
Rolling my eyes I responded “i feel sick can I stay home?”
As she looked at me with a suspicious look she responded and said “Don’t you have that project to turn in?”
“ I can turn it in tomorrow”
“I rather you turn it in today!”
“Really mom”
“Now come on get dress”
As she slowly closes the door shut I put my pillow over my mouth to drown out my screams. I got out of bed and headed to my closet to find something to wear like it really matters. I went to northern high were nobody gave a crap what I had on.
“HURRY UP LINSEY!!” Mom shouted from down stairs.
I rushed to the bathroom and put my hair in a nice ponytail and slipped on a headband. When I made it down stairs my best friend Mia was waiting on me. Mia and I been best friends since the 1st grade. She had my back when the mean girls would pick on me.
“Wassup strawberry!”
“ hey raspberry”
“You ready? The bus on the next street” she asked
“Yeah let me get my back”
I grabbed my book bag and tanned to the door
“Ugh ugh” mom cleared her throat.
“Oh, sorry mom”
I gave her a kiss and hug and headed out the door as me and Mia took our seats I smelled something unusual. Something like Victoria secret and old spice mixed together. I quickly looked up and it was Kate and Katey walking on the bus followed by Jake and Charles. That explains the mixtures between all four of theirs smells.
“Hey strawberry nice ponytail!” Kate said
“What type of parents give there kids fruits names”
“Cluck” a piece of paper hit me across my head !
“THAT IS ENOUGH!!!!” Mia shouted
The bus stop and we was at northern high where everyone in my neighborhood goes to or at least went to. I grabbed Mia and rushed off the bus.
We got our usual breakfast and headed to the table we sat at. All the way to the back outta harms way!!!!!
“ wassup guys , would y’all like to sign up for the debate club? You get 3 free credits when you join!”
“Sorry I already join like 3 clubs in the past 2 weeks”
“Yeah same I think I’ll stick with what I have now!!”
He huffed and puffed and walked away. When I looked beyond him I notice Kate and katey walking our way. I nudged Mia and she knew instantly that they was on there way over here
“Yeah i know I can hear the hills and smell their cheap perfume”
As they made their way over to our table we quickly gather our things and got up but before we can walk away kate called my name
“Hey Linsey!”
“Yes kate” I rolled my eyes and mumbled
“Jake told me you and him have a study date Wednesday?!”
“Yeah I guess you can call it that”
“You Amit tell me this” Mia whispered
Kate looked very upset at the news she just received
“Boom” Kate slammed her book on the table!!
“I know you have a little crush on my boyfriend “
“Whatttttt.....”
“So if you try anything I’ll make your whole senior year he’ll!!”
They flipped there hair and walked away. Mia looked at me with her I’m mad at you face
“Why didn’t you tell me you and jake was studying together!”
“Because I didn’t feel it was a big idea”
“WHAT ITS TOTALLY A BIG IDEA!!” She shouted
“And why is that ?”
“Linsey you had a crush on Jake Sandler since the 1st grade!!”
The bell rung for 1st period
“Ummm... I guess we’ll talk about this later” I quickly said while walking off
She rolled ha eyes and headed the other way. As I made it on B hall I heard shouting it was coming form the Algebra class
“YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT!!! WE ARE THROUGH!!”
