Chapter I : A Stout Little Sprout
Once upon a time...In a land where no one have ever explored...where dreams are shattered...where the broken will are lost...and all hope is gone...The Void...In the Void lies Kvothe the Destructor, he plans to consume Life herself for being the most powerful being in planet Earth...Even though Kvothe was banished in The Void he still seeks vengeance for the one who banished him...His father...
“My father... He betrayed me... If only I had more power I could have just obliterated him... And now I am here to suffer... In this strange world... ”
Kvothe said.
As times past by he looked at a strange rift...
“It is only a matter of time until I escape in this barren world...MUAHAHAHAHAHA”.
Kvothe said.
Meanwhile... In planet Earth the two siblings Ricardo and Hope were asked by their father to get the lumber from his cabin in the forest.
“Ricardo, aren’t we gonna get lumber from the forest?”
Hope said.
“Relax Hope..there is still a plenty of time, I mean we can still spare some time here in the pond and then we can still play”
Ricardo said.
“But the forest...it really creeps me and what about when it gets dark ..? don’t you think we should hurry? ”
Hope said.
“Alright alright ,let’s go get the lumber already”
Ricardo said.
Meanwhile in the forest... The siblings were caught up the attention of how wondeful the forest when it’s on the afternoon, but something caught up the attention of Hope.
“Hey Ricardo I think someone is following us”
Hope said.
“Well, its probably just boars or rabbits let’s keep going.. ”
Ricardo said.
They finally reached the shack of their father and they collected all the lumber that they need. But on their way back home they noticed an old man suited with a hooded robe .The old man seems rather mysterious, as the old man walk towards Ricardo and Hope, Hope felt anxious and scared.
“Ummm...Ricardo?.. who is that old man on the road?”
Hope asked.
“Hmmm...I don’t know but I think its just a traveller here.. ”
Ricardo said.
As they come closer to the old man they noticed him carrying a lantern. Both of them looked at the lanter out of curiosity and they felt dizzy...dizzy...dizzy...until they fall down into the ground...After awhile they woke up in the middle of the forest..
“R-Ricardo are you t-there..?”
Hope asked.
“Ughh...what happend...?”
Ricardo said.
As they both get up from the ground they can’t recognize there surroundings.
“Ricardo where are we?”
Hope said.
“I don’t know but I think we’re still in the forest...somewhere...”
Ricardo said.
As they were searching for clues in their surroundings they saw a black bunny in front of them..
“Brother what is that thing..?”
Hope asked.
“It’s just a black bunny but...why is it acting kinda strange.. ? ..it’s best if we just don’t come near it”
Ricardo said.
As they venture through the forest they still see strange things..it’s like if they were in a dream. But what they don’t know that their spirits were trapped within the old man’s lantern. The lantern is cursed by the old man who still seeks his son who was lost in the forest centuries ago.
“Ricardo, do you think father is finding us..?.. I-I mean it’s getting pretty d-dark.. ”
Hope said.
“Oh little Hope, I am very sure that father is finding us right now, but I think it’s best if we just stay away from wild animals... And don’t worry 8f any animals tries to hurt you I will protect with all my might”
Ricardo said.
“T-thank you..*hugs Ricardo* Even if we get lost I am sure father will find us *sobs* ”
Hope said.
“Hope...do not worry we can still find our way home it’s just...I haven’t recognized this part of the forest, and it’s getting dark we should find a shelter”
Ricardo said.
The dark forest showed no promise of death and they both searched for a shelter to sleep in...Meanwhile the old man with his lantern.
“A boy and a girl..hmm it’s been decades since I last saw a human being..I better take both of them to my cabin before I encounter those monsters again ...”
the old man said.
As the old man carries there body back to his cabin he encountered a creature from the void... a gar’nak . A creature in which who has 4 legs, 2 claws and a pair wings, they are known to devour whole living organisms, even if the creature that they will devour is dead, they will still consume it. The gar’nak stared at the old man and prepared to strike with its 2 claws , but the old man used his lantern to stop the gar’nak. The gar’nak fell into the ground until its whole body vanished. The old man continued his walk back to has cabin. Until then...the siblings are being chased down by a gar’nak who has only one pair of legs.
“WHAT IS THAT?! I HAVE NEVER SAW THAT CREATURE BEFORE!!”
Ricardo said while carrying Hope.
“I DON’T KNOW..!! ”
Hope said.
“I don’t know what to do...!! ”
Ricardo said.
Suddenly, the black bunny hopped it’s way in the path of Ricardo and Hope..
“Look..!! It’s the black bunny from before..!”
Hope said
As they pasted the black bunny the gar’nak slowed down. The black bunny stared the gar’nak with it’s crimson eyes and the gar’nak began to twitch and scream... And then it finally died...The siblings had a conversation to each other about the creature that they encountered but what they don’t know that the creature that died is the same creature that the old man trapped in his lantern.
After sometime both of them felt dizzy again, this time Ricardo hugged Hope before she falls into the ground again
”Brother I f-feel something…dizzy again.. ”
Hope said.
”ughhh…me too. It’s the same feeling right before we fall into the ground a while ago.. ”
Ricardo said.
And they both fell asleep. Moments later the old man released the spirits of the two siblings in his cabin.
“W-what happened..?”
Ricardo said.
“Ughh my head hurts..”
Hope said.
They both noticed the old man in front of them.
“Wait a minute YOUR THE OLD MAN IN THE PATH EARLIER!!”
Ricardo said.
The old man giggled at Ricardo with a matching smile.
" Yes I was the one you saw on the road earlier”
the old man said.
“Where are we? What is this place?”
Ricardo said.
“This place is my cabin, it is the only safe place here in the forest”
the old man said.
“hmm…a while ago we are in a forest too…but somewhat bizzare, How did we end up here?”
Hope said.
“Its because both of you looked into my lantern earlier, your spirits have been captured by it and then both of you fell down into ground. Strangely I don’t see people like you in this part of the forest what have you been up to?”
the old man said.
“Well…how can we trust you?”
Ricardo said.
“Hahaha.. I brought you here safe and sound, and you still think that I am an enemy of you?”
the old man said.
Trusting the old man Ricardo explained the whole story.
“Hmmm about the creature that was chasing you down, it is a gar’nak , a gar’nak is a creature from an unknown dimension but it is known that it devours living organisms”
the old man explained
As the old man continue telling information about this unknown creature...another creature arrives just outside the cabin..
