Goodbye
He rushes quickly and and quietly grabbing anything he can. It’s quiet and the only light coming in is from moon. It hits him lightly with shadow of the blinds. He throws the backpack over his shoulder and leaving his dark room. He burst out trying not to get caught and goes toward door. He hears a small creak behind him knowing he’s caught.
“Don’t, nothing could change my mind” he turns quickly. She walks closer and leans against the wall and sighs. She pushes her auburn hair behind her ear then crosses her arms.
“You’ll crush her.” She says softly he can barley hear her.
“It my only choice.” He looks to the ground putting his hand through his hair.
“Yeah your only choice is to leave and break her to pieces.” Her voice get louder standing up straight.
“She broke me first.” His voice breaks and tears start form in his eyes.
“After you neglected her. After she went to hell and back you just ignore her.”
“I didn’t mean to.” He breathes
“But you did and she didn’t know what she was feeling and he was the only person there.”
“No she could of said she didn’t want to be with him.She could of said no.And where the hell were you huh” His voices raises and he gets closer.”
“With our mother who needed help. But your girlfriend had just lost hers. She needed help not someone yelling at her.”
“I never yelled at her. I couldn’t even speak after I heard what she did.”
“She only did cause she was alone. No it wasn’t right but if you were ther-“
“If I was there what, huh? It is to late now and it’s not all my fault.” He yells.
“So what. Your just going to leave her, me. Mom , what? You just going to leave like he did.”Her words are meet with silence and he looks ashamedly to the ground. “Your coward, you leave you don’t back ever.”
“Fine.”he turns away quickly and reaches for the door. He opens it as quickly as he closes it leaving a thundering bang shakey the whole house. Tears role down her cheeks and her weak legs drop to the ground. She grabs a picture frame and in anger throws it to the door. She wipes and tears breathing normally again. She walks to the shattered pieces and picks up the picture that was covered. She lost more than just her brother today.
