The Raven’s Call
The sun was up, and now the moon gives way to darkness. It lured in the shadows, ready to pounce on an unsuspecting and inncocent person. It landed at Grape Public School. The darkness tried to ingulf a young and unsuspecting girl. But it couldn’t. She was too precious because of her darkness that she created. She was already sensitive, and she was already ingulfing herself in her own darkness that she created. The darkness wanted to help the darkness growing inside of her. So it decided to take on the form of a raven. The raven cawed and bellowed, crying through the pains of darkness. After 12,500 calls, it passed out and died on the spot. Yet, the raven was not dead, for it was a phantom. It spurrowed in the wind, and passed the little girl’s friend’s home. The raven had an idea. The raven’s call bellowed throughout the night, and the calendar was set to the first day of school when the little girl’s friend awoke. Today was the day, where all went astray. But what was to make anew? We shall see, young reader, we shall see.
