Chapter 1
Hi uhm my name is Alice, and my sister's name is Alexa. We both are twins and like to do alot of things together. So me and my sister are taking a trip to our grandmother's house. I mean are parents always makes us visit her house twice a week, so today is the day. But I really don't want to visit my grandmother, it's not that I'm being rude or anything it's just when I sleep at night over my grandmother's house I hear loud bangs on the window. But I just think it's a small animal making a bunch noises on top of my grandmother's roof. Ofcourse my sister Alexa had to come along, we always visit our grandmother together.
As my father drives closer to my grandmother's street, I already feel spooked as we pass the other houses. Later I can see my grandmother's house far ahead, and in about a couple of minutes we arrive.
As me and my sister step out the car we quickly grab our luggage and hurry to our grandmother's door steps, as our parents car drives off quickly. We walk up to the doorstep and I slowly take my finger and place it on the doorbell for it to ring, then I quickly step back. Then me and my sister Alexa are greeted with a slow creek at the door as it starts to open, me and my sister jump back as we were frighted, Then our grandmother opens the door with a greeting. " Oh hello Alice and Alexa its nice to finally see you girls again".
Well as surprised as we were we greeted her with a hello,"Hi grandma nice to see you again". I had said. "Hello grandma happy to be here". Said Alexa.
We both stepped into our grandmother's house and the first thing we saw were old pictures of our mother on the wall and sovenears stocked on the shelf, the scent of our grandmother's house smelled like freshed bloom daisies with an overlapping smell of freshed bake cookies that came right out the oven.
On the floor was a floor mat that said welcome, our grandmother's floor was sparkling as the floor had just been mopped and the furniture in her house looked riched, as the couches were sewed with a silky red cloth and the coffee table had a rich burgundy color with a shiny glass drawer. Her stairs had a dark brown wood that matched the floor pretty well as they both shined, and our grandmother wore and dark blue dress with emerald earrings that caught my attention because they were beatiful.
Even though my grandmother's house seemed pretty nice it still freaked me out because I never new what that loud banging On the window still was, so it made me curious to check it out once me and my sister went to bed.
Me and my sister Alexa walked up the stairs into our roomed we stayed in and started to unpack our luggage, as I was unpacking I had a weird feeling every time I looked at the window that stood across the side of my bed. But as soon as we were done packing we quickly ran down stairs to go eat some of the cookies our grandmother prepared for the both of us, and when we both say down our grandmother gave us each three cookies with some warm hot chocolate she made us.
