Good morning
I made my way into the small coffee establishment. "Good morning Uncle Phil," I announced heading to the counter. It seemed to be a calm day, and it was just how I liked it. Uncle Phil then gave me a weak smile wiping the counters with a portable red rag. "Good morning James. What will it be this morning?" I chuckled softly tapping my finger on my bottom lip pretending to read the menu. "Oh, I can't choose how about a medium black coffee with only a teaspoon of milk," I said handing him the money with a smile. He then gave me a weak smile and nod making his way to the back." Your usual will be out soon." Uncle Phil called out with a gentle laugh. Lord knows he was quite elderly to be working in this tiny shop at the age of 72. However, no many times I've offered him the money for retirement he would all ways refuse. I sighed softly grabbing a newspaper from the stack and sat at a small table near the front door.
"I'm sorry I'm late uncle Phil!" A woman blurted out slamming the doors wide open as she stumbled into the shop. I snuck a glimpse of her before looking at my papers in utter annoyance. She was a small girl was all I could notice, standing at maybe 5'2 ft. "Maybe you could've at least open the door like a proper adult. You could've caused the damn door to shatter since you simply burst through like a maniac." I grumbled flipping the page frowning slightly. Before a small hand smashed the papers from my grasp dropping it to the tiled floor. "No one asked you. Oops, I think you dropped that, might want to pick that up like a civilized adult sir."
