Chapter 1
The dark. Some people find it comforting. Other people are terrified, but I’m sick of it.
Imagine being in the darkness not being able to see light not being able to see your favorite color. How will you see your love, how will you be able to look into your children eyes!
Just because of someone else you have to suffer, you have to take all the damage that wasn’t given to them? You lose something important. We’ve all learned our 5 senses right touch, taste, smell, hearing and …. sight. well what if you had 4 and no control over which one you would lose.
how would you feel...?

Wake up, go do business in the bathroom, get dressed, eat, do work, come home, shower and sleep . Wake up, go do business in the bathroom, get dressed, eat, do work, come home, shower and sleep. Its almost the same thing everyday. Yeah disabled people can do this and that if they put their minds to it, but at this point I’ve kind of just accepted the fact that its not going to happen and given up.
Some days I go to the local café and the music shop, just so I wont feel so alone. I always try to keep a smile on my face though because I’m grateful to be breathing as some people don’t have the pleasure of doing that. Anyways currently walking to my local café, Calma.
The bells jingled as I opened the door. Someone immediately came to my side as I was a regular. “I told you Marisol, I know this place like the back of my eyelids.” She took my arm and sat me down at my signature table right next to the saffrons.“You always know its me how?” I smiled a little more and just shook my head. “I keep telling you this Marisol its just a thing”
“Saf, you always do that! Anyways, did you hear some upcoming model is in town and might be coming today.” I sighed,"And what about it” “Maybe Saffron could get her a little paella” “Dios mío! does it look like I'm looking for someone right now!"
"I mean to me it looks like you're ready to salsa with a trozo de hombre" "no I am not, can you just please get me my usual?" I shooed her with my hand. " Si abuela!" I could hear her run off "you little-" I mumbled under my breath.
As I sat there and waited for my Artisanal Coffee I heard the wonderful sound of a gentle bell signaling that a new customer has arrived. After that the whole café got silent.
I waited patiently only hearing small movements. Whispering broke out talking about how handsome he was. I guessed the model came in and now everyone is gossiping.
"Here's Artisanal Coffee Saf" "Thanks Marisol" I sipped on my coffee silently enjoying the sounds of people. Coffee is actually disgusting, but I like knowing I can taste anything I would like.
Someone walked by and I got a waft of their manly patchouli scent. Inhaling, I hear them sit behind me. Smiling I took another sip enjoying the comforting smell.
