Chapter 1
Studio 33 is filled to the rafters with contestants all wearing outrageous costumes that range from scary monsters to fairy tale characters.
After the intro plays, Monty Hall walks onto the set and starts chatting with the costumed contestants.
"Welcome to THE ALL-NEW LET'S MAKE A DEAL!" Monty says. "This is the place where it all happens. It's the buying and selling marketplace of America. And speaking of buying and selling, I need one trader for my first deal."
The contestants all wave their hands, hoping Monty will call on them.
Monty spots a woman dressed like Snow White.
"How about you?" He says to her.
She jumps to her feet excitedly.
"Your name is Pamela, right?" Monty asks.
Pamela nods.
"Well, Pamela," Monty says. "I would like for you to have a chance to win what is behind Curtain #3. And Karen will show it to you right now."
Karen moves aside, and the curtain opens, revealing a beautiful gold Mercury Sable.
"It's a new Sable!" The announcer says.
Pamela is VERY EXCITED now.
The announcer describes the Sable, which is $18,940.
"That's a beautiful Sable, isn't it, Pamela?" Monty asks.
Pamela nods and smiles.
"You can have the car if you get a lucky spin on this Deal Wheel here," Monty says.
Pamela nods.
"As you can see," Monty says. "On the wheel is one space that says "Car." If you land on that space, you win the car."
Pamela nods.
"There are also four cash spaces on the wheel," Monty says. "$1,000. $5,000. $10,000 and $25,000."
Pamela nods again.
"In addition," Monty says. "There are also two spaces that say, "Zonk." If you get one of those, you lose everything. So, try to avoid them if possible. I really would like to see you win that car. So, step over there and give that wheel a spin, Pamela."
Pamela spins the wheel and watches it closely.
The wheel spins around, almost dizzying Pamela.
She recovers and the wheel slows down, stopping on "$1,000."
"Congratulations, Pamela!" Monty says. "You just won $1,000!"
The audience applauds.
"You can keep the $1000 and stop now," Monty says. "Or I will give you another spin to try to win the car. If you go for the car, you must give the $1000 back. What is your decision?"
"I WANT THAT CAR!" Pamela says with strong determination.
She spins the wheel again, hoping to win the car.
The wheel begins to slow down, and Pamela nearly explodes with cheers.
"YOU'VE WON THE CAR, PAMELA!" Monty says.
The entire arena erupts with cheers and Pamela ALMOST faints.
"Well," Monty says. "As long as she's happy... Anyway, we'll have another cash deal coming up after this commercial break. Don't go away."
