Interesting!
"I fell in love easily with this story. In the beginning it reminded me of Studio Ghibli films where fantasy is mixed with some science, almost like steampunk but not. I continued to enjoy the world culture of The Shattered Girl. I especially love the idea of dwarves being seafaring folk instead of confined to mountains. I'm going to miss this story. The only thing that needs improvement is some of the grammar. My only disappointment is that this story hasn't been finished and I'll never know how Emilia's story ends."
Exciting
"This one really had me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't sure WHAT was going to happen. I loved the idea of the girl sneaking out at night to read the manuscript and of the dragon attack. I want to know what happens next and if she finds the dragon. However, I was extremely confused about the time and setting of this story. I'm assuming it's a fantasy world.....with guns and aircraft? I think that this could use a little clarification. Also, I still don't know what kind of school she is going to or why the manuscript was not allowed. Perhaps this will come later in the story? Either way, I really enjoyed this, and I can't wait for more to come. Good work! And good luck in the contest!"
