Chapter 1
It’s raining
A grey fog floats in the atmosphere
Nothing is visible, but in the distance you appear
A far away, indescribable image in my mind.
You’re a puzzle
A maze of emotions I’ve trapped myself in
I feel as if I’ve put my rational mind in a muzzle
You confuse me
Your eyes like a key
Your gaze feels like electricity
Full of complicities
Your hands like feathers
Tethers to reality
Your voice
Deep like gravel
I predict it will be my unravel
Your laugh
Sweet like a birds song
I wish I could play it all day long
One look and my insecurities, doubts, and jealousies
They drift away into your eyes intricacies
What feels like a struggle
the image of us as a couple
We’d never work
Yet what usually costs me all my energy
Ignites me with only your memory
The voice in my head that screams you are wrong for me
yells so loud when you disappear
It fills my heart with fear
And then suddenly your here
Staring into my eyes and all I want is for you to always be near
Nothing seems wrong, my worries now silent
But every time you’re gone, these feelings of doubt come back
so reliant.
