Me and Curtis's friend group has some intresting and lovable people involved. The reason why the group is "owned" by two people, is because we're best friends. There's Jacob- the troublemaker, Ally- the sass, Liam- the smarty, and Maya- the... stupid one. Curtis and Tyler (me), are the parents.

We're all homeschooled. Our go to, is ATVs. We ride the backroads, the canefeilds, the hidden streets. Curtis is always the one to get the group together. Ally and Liam are siblings, and Ally and Maya are best friends. Today, we we're mud riding. It rained last night, so we plan to go early on this beautiful Sunday morning. Me, Curtis, Ally, and Jacob have fourwheelers. Maya has a side-by-side, and Liam has a three wheeler.

"Tyler, you ready?" Curtis yelled. I had been trying fit my tow strap and my water bottle in the same compartment. I finally fit it all.

"Um... yea! Let's go!" We had to talk over all of the idling engines. They all zoomed forward, and i gave them a head start. We're in a cane field today, making our way through the tall cane that resembled a maze. I went full throttle. The fourwheeler jerked me forward. I stood up, to make myself more comfortable. I passed Maya, and Jacob at once. Ally almost made her way up to Curtis, when i passed her up. Liam had crossed over to another road. I only had to pass up Curtis. We stayed side by side for a split second. I held the throttle harder, and i barley went quicker. I passed him up, and took position in front of him. He smiled, and he tried going faster. I turned to a different road, and fishtailed. I looked behind me, and Ally followed behind me. I went faster, mud flew up. I went faster, and turned onto another road. I noticed that Curtis was ahead of me. Jokes on him, because I'm bring out my full throttle again.

We were riding back. We all separated to our houses. Liam and Ally had to ride down the highway, but Me, Curtis, and Maya lived down Auburn Street. The bottom end of the street is a cane field, and the top is a highway. Maya lived in the middle, i lived towards the top, and Curtis's house was the last house of the street.

"Tyler, you're 15. You really need to work on your maturity." Emmy said. Emmy is my older sister. She gets annoying, because everytime i ask for advice, i get that.

"Never mind." I said. I asked her about techniques to bring my online grades up. I took my shower, and layed in bed. I saw my phone light up from a notification. I picked it up, and searched through it.

Curtis: Come over. Climb through your window.

Curtis was really nice when we weren't in front of people, making a scene. He's a good kid, that's why my mom is okay with me hanging out with another guy, constantly.

Me: Why?

I liked always asking why to him. He always had an answer for everything, no matter how long it would take him to get it.

Curtis: Because i miss you. :(

I laughed to myself. He was so charming, it was funny. I'm happy that he's my best friend because we think the same, we have alot in common.

Me: Alright, fine.

Curtis: Thanks, girly.

"Girly" has always been his nickname for me. Because of him, alot of my friends call me that. I start to take pride in it, because alot of people like it. I took two chocolate granola bars with me, because we both like them. I also needed something eat after i run all the way down the street.

"Hey." He said, as he opened the window for me.

"Hey." I said.

For the rest of the night, we talked about fourwheelers we wanted, our plans for tomorrow, awsome pranks to do, and food. I stayed until 4:23 a.m. He began to fall asleep, so i had to leave.

"Bye." I whispered. He helped me out the window, and ran back up the street to my house. I immediately fell asleep within five minutes. Tomorrow is Tuesday, Friday is my birthday- December 4.

***

I just woke up, and I'm eating cereal. There was a knock on the door. I swear if this is Jehovah's witnesses. I opened the door, to see Curtis. He ran his hands through his shiny blonde hair, and flashed his pearly whites.

"Hey what's up, girly." He greeted.

"Hey. You can come in." I said, and stepped aside for him to walk in. He walked in, and sat across the table from where i was.

"Whatcha' want to do today?" He questioned.

"Hmm... can we go over to your house and play call of duty?"

"Yea, sure."

"Alright, just give me a minute to actually wake up, and get dressed. Emmy walked out her room, and was surprised to see Curtis. She liked him, and we all knew it. "Hey, Curtis!" She winked, ew. She was two years older than him, and Curtis found her creepy- don't blame him.
