The beginning
Alexa lie in bed thinking about him the only one who she couldn’t get her mind off was the only boy in school who didn’t fall at her feet whenever she approached him. Alexa was awaiting the day that she would ask him to prom, the day that her best friend, Ellie, dared her to ask out her crush. Alexa was a nervous wreck when she went to cross of yet another day on her calendar and she saw the note written in Ellie’s handwriting on her calendar saying “Ask out Jared at school”. She crossed out the day and ran to her phone. She called Ellie and awaited while she listened to the sound of emptiness ringing. Alexa knew Ellie and was the type of person who would not answer on a day like this because she knew that Alexa was going to try and ease her way out of the dare, like usual. She got on her clothes for school and went to her bus stop. She knew that she would have to face Jared at her bus stop but none of her friends would have that opportunity of facing her in the morning. She always had a burning hatred for the bus because it was like all of her friends that she should have on the bus were exchanged for nerds and geeks. Alexa called Ellie one last time but of course Ellie didn’t pick up.
