PROLOGUE
Inside voice :
Help... All I need is help... A single voice will help me escape here. To leave this place, away from danger, and be free, no harm for being safe for myself, please somebody help me. I know no one else will rescue me... Lying on cold floors, my cheeks touch as I lay on floors that can't even move. I am frozen to death. Even can barely move or sit... I could feel my body shiver, but I tried to be strong because no one would rescue me.
A scream in my head told me, like a voice stuck in my head keeps repeating, telling me to scream, but my mouth runs dry and I'm not able to. I can't even barely speak or whisper on my lips, lips that were wounded last night. I still remember a heavy hand hitting on my face and losing consciousness.
The cold night breeze swifted my soul; it took me a while before I regained consciousness; I could not whisper through my wounded, sore lips; it was difficult to breathe; or every single word could speak.
Yes, I am aware of where I am knowing that no one could hear me if I could shout or cry for help; no one could hear. In the depth of silence in the middle of the darkroom that I can feel on my nerves, also deep down in my bones belongs to nowhere... dark room leads nowhere nor any single light I see.
Shadows cast away through the darkest night could even a cry would not help, even if I cried and sob until my lungs collapsed, but all I can do is breathe... a chance to breathe. I have no choice but to breathe.
I cannot escape or cannot run; run as fast as I could, but the only part moving in me was my heart, pumping, working, saying there is still a reason why I am here, a purpose to live. My heartbeat fast pumps blood through my veins. I get panicky; I can feel almost suffocated. I almost died and was paralyzed, and I will never forget that night. The only thing I can describe clearly.
