Chapter One

The first time she saw him, she fell head over heels for him. The Angels had his wrists shackled along with his ankles. He was the most beautiful creature she had ever seen, despite the fact of him being a demon. His black slightly shaggy hair was a mess, how clothes were torn from what appeared to be a struggle and his muscles could slightly be seen. His black hues locked onto her for a moment, causing her to jump a bit and blush, looking down as blonde locks fell into her face a bit, reaching up to push the hair back behind her ear. It wasn't uncommon for Angels to bring Demons for questioning, they were rambunctious beings an always causing trouble but for some reason, this one felt different. She had seen over a thousand demons coming in and out of here but this one caused her heart to skip a beat or two and left her breathless.

She was curious about why she was feeling this way and the worse part was, she was in the interrogator, so she would have to interrogate this criminal. She took in a deep breath before she would follow in after the soldiers that had walked in the criminal and sat him on the opposite side of the table. Once they left she took her spot right across from him.

"So they have a pretty young thing like you trying to get information out of me." The smirk that spread across his face sent shivers down her spine as she looked down to the plain manilla folder. She cleared her throat before she would look back up at him.

"So your name is Trokien Galvon correct?" She managed to squeak out causing the man across from her to chuckle and sit back with a soft nod.

"It sure is sugar, now, what's your name? I only find it fair since you know my name of course." The Demon spoke and the Angel looked up at him, she felt a bit confused and nodded lightly.

"Of course, my name is Dahlia Zophiel." She told him. "Now that introductions are out of the way, tell me, why did you.." She looked through the files in his folder. "Surface into the human realm and kill a human before stealing their car?" She asked, looking back up at him. The first thing she noticed was that he seemed relaxed like he was okay with what was going on. It kind of angered her. Didn't he know what type of situation he was in?

"A Demon has to have their fun yes Miss Angel?" He tilted his head to the side with that pearly white smile. "Anyways, I haven't been up here in a while and it is in my nature to cause trouble but that incident right there, I didn't have any part in." He told her and her brows furrowed a bit. Really? He was going to deny what happened?

She didn't like the way the male was being towards her. How could he say he didn't do it? He surfaced around the times the incident occurred. She sat back in her seat and looked him over a bit. "Is it possible another demon surfaced around the exact time you did and is trying to make it seem like you did it?" She questioned him and the male chuckled lightly at such a question.

"Why yes, of course, there is a possible way another demon surfaced with me. Though I don't know who it is. I think I surfaced after this other one." He told her, his chains clinking a bit as if he was doing something with them but the Angel was paying no mind, she was only focused on questioning him.

"I just still don't think this other person could have done it. It happened right after you surfaced, someone was murdered! Why don't you just admit that you did it?" She asked but in a split second she was pinned against the wall by the male, her eyes wide and heart pounding.

"I don't have time for your silly questioning." He stated before letting her go and vanished. She was highly confused. There was no way he was able to use his powers here. He's in Heaven where Demonic powers are of no use..how..how did he do it?

The woman left the interrogation room, running quickly to go warn someone that their criminal had escaped and she didn't know how it was even possible. Upon coming across one of the guards, she was out of breath, bending over a bit to catch her breath. "The..Criminal..Trokien has escaped." She managed to get out.

"How did he escape? There is no possible way he is able to do that, do you not realize he's a demon and demon powers dont work up here?" The male angel questioned her and she seemed to flinc back a bit and nodded.

"Yes, I understand that it's not possible ut it happened." She told the guard and he sighed deeply.

"I'll let the others know." He said before he ran off to go tell the others.

She stood there, feeling quite helpless about the fact that she just let him get away. This wasn't going to be good on her record. She'd be lucky if she wasn't cast out.
