I don't know how it all started, but all I remember was Aiden and I were having a party to begin our senior year in high school. Our parents were even there and they had even allowed us to drink. Maybe it was because we were rich and had a huge mansion like house. I sighed and walked around my bed from getting up this morning with a staggering headache.

I even had to close the blinds because the bright sun was giving me a headache, and once I did I started to get ready for the day ahead. I set out my clothing on my king size bed after making it. This year will be something, that is for sure.

I even felt it in my bones, but I didn't realize how "something"would turn out. I went to Julian's room, which was across from mine. Julian and I have been the best of friends since we were in soccer together. My parents took him in since his had died in a car accident coming to our of final games. To be completely honest, I think that is why he stopped playing.

My mom only encouraged to do something when he was ready for it, and that was freshman year of high school. He has not went on the field in three years. I know it is hard for him, but I know he misses it, at least he has to. I took myself out of my thoughts and knocked three times on his door, and waited about a minute or so before letting myself in.

His bed was empty, actually it looked like it was never touched. Did he fall asleep somewhere else? I searched every other room and the basement, and didn't find him. I haven't checked my brother's room yet. I don't think he would be in there would he? Second question, why would he be there?

I slowly opened the door. I checked the room, it was still clean and then I went to where Aiden's bed was and my jaw dropped. Julian was in Aiden's bed nude... I picked up the blanket and Aiden was nude as well, but that isn't a surprise he usually sleeps nude. There has to be more to the story right? I mean there has to be... I shook Julian awake and he looked at me as he was gonna say something, but I pressed my finger to my lips and pointed down. He nodded and slowly got his clothing and we went into his room.

The minute I closed his door, he tackled me in a breathtaking hug. I think that he was crying so I stroked his hair softly, well school will be interesting today.

...

The three of us stood in front of the school campus taking in a final breath. This was the last first day of high school. For the three of us, this last step into the campus grounds will be the last first step into high school. This may even be the last time to do new things. I looked over my shoulder to see Julian glancing around the campus and on the other side was Aiden looking at Julian.

"You guys ready for this?"I asked. Aiden nodded triumphantly, while Julian did not. He shook his head. My guess, he was thinking of his parents. I walked over to him and hanged over him. I picked his head up and kissed forehead. "I am sure that if they were here, they would be hugging you and crying telling you not to leave them." I whispered and he chuckled.

"Yeah I bet they would do that." He replied. He seemingly took a long deep breath before composing himself. "Alright, I think it is time to start our senior year. I don't think the teachers would like us to be late now, yeah?" I nodded. I grabbed both of their arms without trying to deny that I may or may not try and get them together, but hey a brother can only dream right.. We took our very first but last step into a high school. The three of us were lead to the auditorium to which we were called by name to pick up our schedules. The first day of school wasn't really for class. It was for us to get to know who we would be classmates with, or who we would eventually be despising.

...

Julian was one of the last people to get his schedule, due to his last name. When he got back to us, I snatched his class list and compared it with our two.

"One, two, four, five." I counted the classes I shared with Jules. Aiden had two classes with him, while I had five with him. Lunch didn't count. Let's face it, if lunch was an actual class, half the school including us would fail. That was how bad it was.

"You know, I heard that the school redid their lunch room this year." One of the students passing us said. Maybe this year would be different. I heard footsteps coming up to the three of us.

"Alright you three.." The teacher started. "Looks like the three of you need to be on your best behavior." We nodded. "Julian, you are on the verge of being the valedictorian of this year's senior class. Aiden and Kaidence, you two happened to be scouted for college. I need you three to keep your grades a little higher than just a C+ average. Julian you can't get no lower than a B+." She explained and left.

"Talk about a whole load of pressure." Aiden let out. The three of us chuckled. I looked over at Julian and nudged him.

"You okay?" I asked.

"I was just thinking to myself." He replied.

"Want to talk about it?" I asked. He nodded. I stood up and stretched. "Then us three should go and get some coffee from the expresso shop in the library." They nodded and walked out of the door.

...

We sat down on the bench near the library with our coffees in our hand. "Now tell us what you were thinking about in the auditorium." He sighed.

"Well, I was thinking about coming back to the team. I went three years from it, and if I get put on the team that means I can help you study." He pointed to me and said.

"Hey!" I huffed. "I am not hopeless you know. There are times where the honors classes were kicking my behind."

"That is because you procrastinate Kai." Aiden said. Julian turned to him.

"You aren't any better yourself. I had to rewrite all of your papers for you because of how badly written they were. If I didn't know how you think, I would have not been able to read it at all. I don't even know how your teachers did." He said and I laughed.

"Writing doesn't come natural to me." He huffed. I laughed harder and the other two decided to chime in as well.

"Well it is good that you have me as your tutor." He replied. I smiled.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked. "The last time you went on the field you had a severe panic attack. How can you be so sure that it wouldn't happen again." I asked being concerned. He laid his head on my shoulder.

"Because, I have you there in my corner. And with you, I know I can brave anything this year can bring." He looked quickly at Aiden and the shuffled closer to my ear so only I could hear it. "Even if it hurts me." I nodded.

...

The final bell rang for the day and Julian and I were heading down to see the coach. The soccer season had started over the summer and coach has been trying to get Julian back on the team, so I thought maybe Jules should talk to her. We arrived at her office and knocked on the door. She walked up to the door and opened it for us.

"Jules, are you alright?" She said pulling him into her arms and giving him the biggest hug ever. I closed the door behind us to give the two privacy they needed.

"I was thinking about coming back onto the team." He said softly and she nodded knowing the challenge ahead of her. I turned around and left the office to let them talk.

...

I was sitting on the bench by the field waiting for Julian to find me. I was scrolling through my phone to look at the notifications on instagram, to see anyone that appeals to me. I sighed in frustration and opened the Grindr app. I really couldn't think straight anymore. This morning had my brain in a bunch of knots.

Julian tapped my shoulder and sat down.

"So I think we should talk about what happened this morning from last night, but before I do I have to tell you something." He said. He sighed. "I am in love with your brother."
