Careless
Quinn was walking through the dim woods, the twigs and leaves crunching beneath her bare feet. A small ray of sunshine peeks through the thick forest, telling Quinn she was close to the meadows. She broke into a run, smiling to herself. She wanted to feel the sun beaming down on her face, considering she felt like she hadn't even seen the sun in weeks. There was a clearing in the trees that allowed Quinn to see the fields of seemingly endless grassy hills. She stopped once she arrived on the soft, green ground. Animals were chirping, running, and hopping about. One in particular, a small hare, hopped its way over to Quinn. She squatted down and held out her hand for the small animal to sniff. It did, naturally, and began to make a squeaking sound. The squeaking suddenly turned to a blaring sound that hurt Quinn's ears. Quinn shot up in her bed and shivered. She glanced over at her bedside table and realized it was her alarm clock. She groaned and reached over to turn it off. She leaned back and heaved a large sigh. "Oh, right," She muttered, putting a hand to her head, "That concert.."
