𝙷𝙾𝚆 𝙳𝙾 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝙻𝙾𝚅𝙴?

Once I saw in the darkness

Something lurking in a corner

The wind howls outside

Curtains fluttering through the open window

The moon shines brightly upon

The dimly lit room

The creature lurking in the corner

Looked out the window

Thought to himself

I don't posses the quality of loving someone

And then it flew up to the sky

And sat and on the moon

Fished out stars

Engaging in a staring contest between it and the star

The star shines brightly in the hands of it

It became startled and threw the star away

The star dulled and its light died down

No longer shedding of beautiful bright light

The wind howls again

And the star grows frightened

Exposed to the dark

No shelter nor protection

It knew it was alone

The creature ran to the star

Picked it up and whispered

"i'm sorry i shouldn't have left"

the star smiled

And forgave the creature

And they lived in harmony

Although it's shine was gone

The creature thought it was beautiful no matter

It truly did know how to love
