Chapter 1
Who am I, you ask? Well my name is Chloe Marshall and I am 17 years old. I go to Plaintiff high school. And yes I do have a boyfriend. His name is Joey Banks. When I was seven years old, my mother Karen and I moved to the big city..New York City. She wanted to move there to get started on her new book. Everyone loves her but if they knew about her drinking problem, how she abused me growing up and chose her boyfriends over me they wouldn't adore her as much anymore. I hate that woman with everything in me. When I was seven she use to lock me in the closet and make me sit in there for hours. I wasn't allowed to have any friends over. Joey lived across the street from me. We use to play house and matchbox cars. Joey's mother Katie was sleeping with my mother's boyfriend. Every time he would come over I'd hear moaning, grunting and slapping cheeks from the other room. After dicking my mom down, he would leave right away. If you asked me for my opinion, I believe Marky Mark had a wife. It seemed very odd how he had all this free time during the day to fuck my mom but he always came over during the night. I guess it doesn't really matter though, it's none of my business and its not like my mother would care even if she knew. My mom is a whore. At 13 years old my mom stopped letting me go over to Joey's. I remember coming home from school and mother approaching me at the door. Her exact words were "Chloe I don't want you going over to Joey's anymore. His mother is a slut! A dirty raggedy slut, do you hear me?! I am not worried about you learning her whorish ways. Even God knows it's already too late. I don't want you around her because she fucked Mark!!!" I was really sad. I didn't want to lose Joey. He was the only friend I had. Everyone at school would make fun of the way I dressed. I didn't get new clothes and shoes for school. Mom only blew all the money she made on her =self. When it came to me it was fuck my needs. I went to my room crying, throwing myself on my bed. I picked up the walkee talkie Joey and I used to communicate with each other. He was there for me when things would get bad between mom and I or when I just wanted to talk. I talked to Joey and he reassured me that I wasn't losing him. We came up with the idea that if we wanted to hang out then I could sneak out of my bedroom window at night and he'd let me in through his bedroom window. At 15 I had my first kiss. I snuck out that night and went over to Joey's. I stood outside in my beat up converse and jean jacket throwing pebbles at his window. He got out of bed and let me in. We sat there talking about how I was being called ugly in school and being skinny-shamed. I laid my head on his shoulder and cried. He held me in his arms like he always did and cupped my face, and he said "Chloe, you are not ugly. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on. You are skinny, yes but your body is beautiful. who cares what they think? I think otherwise. I need to tell you something I hope it doesn't push you away. I stopped crying looked up at his baby blue eyes and said what's wrong. "Chloe I know we are young but I love you, not just as a friend. Something more. I want to be with you. I am madly in love with you and I started falling hard for you when we were 13. No other girl I have dated has compared to you. Nobody else can compare to you because they are not you."
