"I think the premise of the plot is well thought. The writing style is easy to read, however during times of the dialogue I felt it was difficult to know which character was speaking. Might think about adding in "said Jade." or something like that. Not to often then it begins to repeat and becomes wordy. I also felt the plot jumped ahead quickly between incidents with Jade. I think for the longer version of the book, if this is going to become a full fledged book, do a little more background and character building for each person and round out the plot more. I think this will help a reader get more attached to the main character or any of the supporting ones. Overall, I really like the storyline and would like to know more on what happens next. Hope it ends well for Jade and her brother, from what I imagine they need it."
