How it all Happened
It all started on the morning of Sunday September 18 on the way to church my cousin Kera was in a car accident. In the car there was my aunt Luisa, my cousins Kristy, Kera, and Alyssa, there was also the driver my aunts boyfriend. They were all hurt pretty badly except Kera who died. The guy driving was trying to roll a cigarette and drive but when he was he dropped the cigarette but when he reached down to get it he lost control of the wheel and everyone was in a seat belt except Kera so when the car flipped it flew her out of the back window and when it came back down it landed in top of her and crushed her to death. That day my mom said that I couldn't be on Facebook, watch the news, or anything like that. I asked why but she wouldn't tell me and I didn't understand. She told me that it was going to be ok but she had to go to the hospital I asked if I could go to but she said no that I needed to stay home. She told me that I had to go get my phone and give it to my aunt right away. I asked everyone what was going on but they all said that they couldn't tell me. Finally my mom got back home and I told her to just tell me what the fuck was going on and she said ok but you won't like it to much. I told her I could handle whatever it was not expecting what she was about to tell me. She looked me in my eyes and said this morning Kera was in a car accident and she didn't make it. At first I didn't believe her until I looked into her eyes and knew she wasn't playing. At first I played it off as if it didn't bother me but truth was it was killing me because that was basically my little sister. We did everything together. Later on that night I went and took a bath but while I was in the bath I got on my phone and looked at all the pictures of how happy we were together. How we were always together. Then I just looked up and said "God why did it have to be her why couldn't it have been me. She didn't deserve this. I don't deserve to lie without her." Then my mom told me that God puts people on Earth to do something then when they are done he takes them back home. So Kera must have done what God needed her to do. I said I guess your right. The next day I went to school but didn't go to any of my classes instead I was with my counselor Mrs.Meg crying in her room on the couch all day. I knew if I went to class all I would do was make a big scene by crying all day so I didn't go. What would you do if your little sister just died and you couldn't have done anything to stop it or even help her?
