Chapter 1: Fresh Start!

this is the house!,” the estate lady said. We both peaked inside the house, and it was a total wreckage!! There were boxes inside the house, the toilet was leaking, and the “bedroom,” well if you can even call it that, had trash bags everywhere!0
As the estate lady left, I face palmed. Kayla wanted to go to an art school for a second chance. Her mother had awful drug problems, and had been to jail at least 3 times this month. Her father was currently in jail for the next 5 years.. at least that’s what her mother had said.
“I’ve already applied for that job in the market. Now I just got to getting my stuff,” I said.
After Unpacking and putting away all things aka (fixing things too).
(The doorbell rings).
“Hello?!,”’ a man knocks on my door. I opened the door. “Hello? Are you my roommate?,” I asked. “Yeah! The name’s Markus! And you must be..?” He asked. “Kayla. Kayla Klaw,” I answered.
I had already set up a bed, so it was easier. But nobody expected what happened at night.
