Lila's POV

0

I am really nervous. I walked down the bus stairs and into the hallway. I searched for my locker number, and eventually switched out my binders. I walked further, looking for my homeroom class. After a few minutes of looking like an idiot, i found it- Mrs. Clinton's class. I walked in, she announced that she didn't care where we sat. Thanks. I sat by two girls. They giggled and passed the name Cameron around.

"Hi." I said. They both stopped whispering, and their heads turned towards me.

"Oh, hi! Are you Lila?" The blonde said excitedly.

"Yes." I chuckled nervously.

"Well, welcome. I'm Jessie, and this is Raigen." She pointed to the short girl next to you. They both wore alot of makeup.

"Oh, my god. Cameron just looked over here." Raigen laughed. She pointed past me, I'm guessing at Cameron. I looked behind, where an exquisitely handsome boy lounged in his chair. I didn't care much, he was like every other boy- extremely stupid. We made eye contact. I smiled softly, and his face expression paused. He studied my face weirdly, then moved his mouth. He moved his mouth into an 'ew' expression, like he didn't like what he saw. I didn't care, he's probably a brat.

"Who's that?" I asked. Jessie giggled, then fluttered her lashes.

"Cameron Macks. He's the hottest, richest, most popular boy in this school. Every girl wishes they could have him, who wouldn't?" She giggled.

"Uh... me." I said nervously. She gasped dramatically.

"You don't think he's hot?" She emphasized.

"Yea, i guess he's handsome, and all... but he's probably a self absorbed brat." I shrugged.

"Wow. Well, opinions, am i right?" Raigen laughed. These girls are sort of annoying, and naive. I looked behind me again, he spoke to another boy next to him. He looked back over to me, then pointed my way. I turned around all the way, the chair too. I raised an eyebrow and he made a disgusted face again. Brat.

I looked at my schedule...

Great... P.E. for 3rd period...

Bloodlines

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

SECRET BILLIONAIRE

W_Skye: The secret-identity premise has real hooks, and the pacing kept me turning chapters (too quickly). What I'd have loved most is more depth in the prose itself, more scenes, more sensory grounding, a bit less telling me what's at stake and a bit more letting me feel it. The bones of a much richer and ...
