Summary

Long ago, in a distant moment in time, when Chaos and its dark manifestations reigned with its dominion of wreaking havoc on the earth, the gods decided to place eight special individuals on earth, each gifted with a unique ability, tasked with the duty of maintaining the balance of peace and chaos on the earth. Needless to say, their sole duty was to prevent the constant wrongdoings of Chaos and its manifestations from ever tipping the scale of harmony which all living beings revolved around. With this duty taken as an oath, these eight beings act as the protectors of the earth hidden in plain sight; despite the continuation of Time, the line of these hidden protectors still remained stagnant with the reincarnation process of such powers within the next line of chosen guardians once the time for the old guardians is up. Since then, there has not been a serious threat the protectors could not face – until now that is.
