Heart breaking and warming all in one package
"Where does one even begin in capturing with words all the ways that this story has teased, thrilled, and shattered my heart? With her captivating voice, strong characters and suspenseful plot, Rebecca delivers the full package with His Burden. I’ve swooned, I’ve screamed, I’ve laughed and I’ve cried, and it feels as though I’ve merely blinked and the book has ended - I devoured it that quickly!! The engagement and execution of this story is to be commended, and the approach to the relationship between Spencer and Jess is to be applauded! It’s healthy, it’s well represented and my god does it do funny things to your heart to read all about every tease, touch, and beautiful moment shared between them (both the intimate and non)! I wish I could go back to the beginning and experience the thrill of this story for the first time all over again. Every piece Rebecca writes is of a high quality and to be admired, and I cannot recommend any of her works enough. x "

Great read. Loved the first two, now to read book 3
"Great read, having read book 1 on galatea near the end Jessica was unhappy with being called mouse as he used that for isy too, also the safe words. So reading this was a tad confusing as that adaption didn't match with this story as she was still being called that and using the traffic lights safe words. Other than that confusion the book was great ❤️"

"Magnificent ❤️👌👌The plot is just 'WOW' it's very much captivating and you get to visualize the characters and live in the moment with them. There are grammatical errors but it's nothing you can't deal with as the plot is very much coherent and flows out nicely with the turn of events. I can't wait for the next book. 🤩🤞"

" Brilliant book. Doesn't give too much away and definitely leaves the feeling of anxious suspense when ending on a cliffhanger. I'm addicted so bad to these novels I cannot peel my eyes away! I try to hang on for one more chapter before falling asleep and soon as I'm awake and having my coffee I'm back to reading again. It's a good job I'm in limbo requiring work right now during this whole convid19 pandemic, because I don't doubt I would be sacked for not being able to peel away from these books! 🤣 "
