"Like Gia Hunter very much Story plot not appealing as her previous great novels"
Inn Haven
"The charming setting of the novel is very alluring and I wish we had more lovely descriptions of the surroundings like the forest park or the shops/ice cream parlor in town, chef's kitchen at the inn, etc. Environmental consciousness of reclaimed tree trunk-turned reception desk and other furniture, solar panels in the cabin, etc. provide a great theme of reusing/recycling/repurposing in this story. It meets another theme of mental health wellness that is achieved through painful detoxing from tech gadgets. The plot is a bit predictable but is comforting because u expect to see no major financial struggles + a happy ending in this light-hearted, "Hallmark" type story. And the author does a marvelous job delivering the ending that elevates both Audrey and Sam to the next level of success in their respective careers and personal lives. Steamy encounters between the main two characters + scrumptious food abundance are the instant commercial appeal markers in this story. The two main characters are Audrey and Sam. Their respective back stories (and secrets) unfold slowly, providing plenty of mystery and guessing. Audrey's character growth is aided by smooth Sam who opens Audrey's eyes on the value of her family legacy. His own character flaw of trust issues is overcome by seeing that clueless Audrey likes HIM versus his celebrity. Grammar and punctuation - I am not a native speaker of English. As a result, I pay extra attention to the issues of spelling, grammar, and punctuation. And this is something that this story could definitely benefit from. Nothing that an editor @ Inkitt could not help the author to embellish. 😉 "
