Chapter 1
What did i do to deserve this thing? He always yells at me without a specific reason.
“ Stephanie come downstairs immediately, don’t make me wait.” He yelled.
Yeah yeah i know. if i’m late that means i will have to face the consequences. i went downstairs and by what i saw i knew there will be consequences for me anyways. Empty bottles of whisky on the coffee table and cigarettes in the ashtray.
“ where’s the food? i’m working all day long and the only thing that you have to do is to clean up the house, cook and study” His face was so red from anger.
“i’m sorry..i had to study because on Monday i will take an important exam and..” i didn’t finish my sentence and he started yell at me again
i don’t care about your school right now. Your priority is to cook FOR ME.WHAT AM I GOING TO EAT NOW? YOUR SCHOOLWORK?”
Then he punched me in the face and i fell down on the floor. He was still yelling at me but i wasn’t able to hear his words. i could feel his shoe hitting my stomach plenty of times without stopping, Suddenly i thought that he stopped but indeed i faint. When i came around i realise he was gone from the house. i run into the bathroom in order to take care of the bruises and the wounds on my face. Suddenly the doorbell rang, i jumped from my fear but when i realised that it was me friend Kassidy, i calmed down. She told me yesterday that she wanted to pick me up and go to her house for a sleepover and of course i had already packed my things. i opened the door and when she saw my face an expression of fear and a anger appeared in her face.
“ Oh my god what happened to your face?’’ she gave me a hug “ Your dad right?”
I nodded at her and i started crying while she was hugging me
“ Let’s go and have some fun tonight girl” She took my bag, my had and she pulled me out off this damn house.
