Restoring Catwoman and Batman

"It's no secret that the quality of the Batman stories have degraded over time, and DC Comics did more to undo the mythos with Frank Miller's gritty, humorless tales than any other writer. Catwoman became a whore, Batman became a bitter psychopath, and the stories were flat and devoid of any chemistry. What Chris has done with her writing is restore a sense of character and individuality to the personalities of both hero and villain, and that space in between occupied by the delightful Selina. The humor is catchy and smart, the tragedy moving and inspiring, and the tales inventive and riveting. While drawing inspiration from many recent DC storylines, her spin seems to freshen and enhance the way Batman should be written. It's a crime that they don't offer her a job."
