Chapter 1-Zerona
"You're only sixteen!" My father said impatiently. "You don't know what love is!!"
"Father, please, listen to me. He's perfect, he's charming, and he's handsome, he's just downright perfect!" I say speaking with a soft tone, that only a person who was truly in love could understand.
"Zerona honey..." My father said as he gently placed his hand on my shoulder, giving me a look of disapproval. "You need to take things slow, you're my only child. I can't have anything happening to my only child. The one that would eventually be leading my pack when I step down."
"Father, you don't understand.."
"ENOUGH!!" My father said, his alpha voice coming out, making my knees weak and my head bow in submission. "You don't know if this man is your true mate! You will wait, and you will be respectful! I need my next alpha wolf trained correctly and efficiently. I don't need a man interrupting what could be the biggest part of your life. Please understand that." He said, his tone now turning gentle.
"Yes, Alpha." I say gently, standing up from the couch. "I'm going to go take a shower, and head to bed, I need rest for more training tomorrow. Goodnight father." I say softly, and kiss his cheek and then go up the stairs to my room, and to my private bathroom. The one good thing about your father being the alpha. Your. Own. Personal. Bathroom. No men and women tryin to go into the bathroom to have sex, no one messes with your stuff. It's yours and only yours.
After I strip my clothes I step into the shower that was already steaming hot, as I let the water run under me, I close my eyes for a second, biting my lip, thinking of the man I had just met at the grocery store. My hand starts, slowly slide down my wet torso, and my finger slowly finds my clit, moving in slight circles on my clit, I let out a soft moan, while thinking of the wonderful and handsome man. My motion starts to go faster as I rub my clit, while I feel my pussy starting to clench I hear a loud knock on my bedroom door.
"Shit!" I mutter quickly and turn off the shower wrapping a towel around me and step out of the shower. "Just a minute please!!!" I finally dry off and throw on a quick pair of shorts and a blue camisole tank top and I open my door, to see the beta of our pack at my door.
"Zerona, your father wishes to speak to you. More decently....attired please. We can't have the Alpha of the Midnight pack seeing you like that." Roman says as he looks me up and down.
"Roman, why on earth is father having that pack Alpha over?!"
"To get things ready for the merging of the two packs, that you will be helping in leading. You know this, now get dressed." Roman says and then he turns and walks away, heading back to my fathers office.
"Great." I say to myself "Can this day get any worse?" If only I could never have said those words aloud, because oh damn how things were going to get so bloody worse from here on.
