Chapter 1: The Fire Drill
Summer and Sienna were just normal adventurous sisters. It was just another boring day at school. Sienna had a math test that day. It was a very important test. It would affect 15% of her math grade. The teacher wouldn't miss it for anything! The sisters came to school to find a bunch of police cars and yellow tape around the yard. The teachers were telling us to come inside the school. I asked one teacher I've never seen in the school before but I knew I've seen before somewhere, “ what's going on?” I said. He told me that there had been a car accident and no one was driving either of the cars when they crashed. I was confused. They just drove off and crashed into our school?! That was impossible I thought to myself… That teacher was very strange and gave me a bad vibe but I didn't pay much attention to it.I walked into math and we had a supply teacher. It was the teacher who I asked about the crash. Our teacher said she wouldn't miss that test for anything. I always felt angry around this new teacher and I felt like he was always near me and watching me. Now my bff Selene always thinks i'm exaggerating. “ I'm not being paranoid! I'm telling the truth! There's something off about him and why won't he tell us his full name? He just wants us to call him mr.L!” I mentioned. “ Well maybe his name is Looser so he doesn’t want to be embarrassed?” We both giggled. I told her to actually give a guess. “well...maybe...idk but im sure its nothing to worry about.” Selene said. I sighed and started taking the test. Halfway through the test my stomach hurt and I asked to go to the bathroom. I was practically running there when the fire alarm rang. I really had to go so I ignored it and went anyway. I emptied out my breakfast in the toilet barely making it. That’s when I remembered the fire alarm was still ringing and dashed out the bathroom. Once I was outside I saw the principle. She stomped over to me and she gave me a lecture on how to be on time especially in these types of scenarios. We entered the school again. I told Selene about it and she told me to go home. I hadn’t finished the test and since it was so important I couldn’t go home. “I’m fine Selene really” I told her. After I took that test and was leaving the class I noticed mr.L throw out a paper in the recycle. Something was telling me to go grab it so that’s what I did. I took it out and saw a poem.
