The beginning

“Can u stop goofing around and get back to work?” I said with annoyance.

“You’re no fun, can we just take a break?” Liam whined.

“We haven’t even started.” I replied.

I’m Starr, I know who names their child that but my used to say I’m unique and that my name means to shine bright. I don’t go by it, I don’t want to shine bright, I just want to be normal.

I believe that everyone has a story even if they don’t know it. People even have other people tell their stories for them but no one can tell it better than yourself.this is me telling my story. Right now I’m helping the school player on his homework but don’t think anything of it, I don’t believe in love. I think that I girl like me can never be love loved unless it’s pettiness. People are rather fake or they bully me.

“You sure no on from school is here?” He questioned while looking around the library.

“I’m pretty sure.” I sat down at the table while Liam gets his homework.

We sat in the library for an hour, Liam was having trouble with his math homework and not to brag or anything but I’m pretty good at math.

We both got up and gathered our stuff.

“See You next week?” Liam asked.

“Yeah, sure.” I responded.

I got home and went straight to my room. My phone starts ringing and I answer my phone.

“Hello?” I asked.

“Hey darling I was just calling to see if you’re ok.” My aunt said.

“Yeah I’m fine.”

“Don’t forget that you have an appointment next week.”

“Yeah. Yeah, I know.” I rolled my eyes.

My aunt is always looking out for me. She knows that I’m the one who tore my family apart and she’s always worried about me. She’s the only family I got. See, when my parents found out about my uniqueness, we lost money and my dad left and my mom blames me for it, though I also blame myself for it.

Three years ago I started to lose my hair but that was when I was homeschooled, my hair grew back really fast and now it’s longer than ever. It was a tough year for me but I learned to stop caring.
”You don’t need to pay for everything.” I said.

“Don’t worry about it dear.” I rolled my eyes again and let the conversation go.

My aunt and I talked for a few minutes and hung up.

Next day...

I hear someone banging on my room door.

“Get up, you have school!” My mom shouts.

I got up because I know for a fact that she’ll make my life miserable if I don’t listen to her.

“I’m up!” I yelled back.

I got ready for school and left out of my window. My mom prefers it that way because she doesn’t like seeing me around. I got in my car and drove to school.
