You will never be a good writer when your book is contaminated by the crime of stealing from an artist. Just focus on your art and your creativity instead!
If you are thinking about my story when you write yours, or something makes you laugh and you think “Oh! I should add this to my own story”, then that is also plagiarism. In that case, ask yourself why you are writing. Is it to get votes from readers? To get some attention from people and popularity on Inkitt? Where would all that bring you? To a contract with Inkitt and a movie on Netflix? No, it will not. You will just feel miserable when people will move to the next book.
So just sit and enjoy the story! If you copy my work, rewrite a sentence, or even a quote or a funny joke, you will commit a crime and get a super horrible karma.
Write if it makes you feel truly happy, do not be a plagiarist! Be an Alpha, not a rogue!
Lastly, I have several readers and fellow writers active on Inkitt that will let me know if my book has been copied, even small sections, rewritten quotes or my jokes. I have zero tolerance towards plagiarists and a brutal legal team on my side to take immediate action and end you.
