Summary

As a shooting star went around its orbit of 2000 years , it breaks apart onto its core and lies down far away , away from other's sight. but within the underlight of the earth ,they just can't wonder anymore. can't wonder about anything as everything was already known and nothing is left to expect.

Prologue

shards of shootings star were falling , mother said , they are falling fast.

the boy looked up to the great , black sky twinkling with great dots from small till big in blue and white , counting the stars till he forgets the numbers , staring at the moonless dark sky as great , big , blue dots appear. the dark empty sky where the moon was supposed to be was gone , and replaced with these shining dots of colour.

where were the shards of a shooting star that mother had told to him ,why wouldn't it be here in the sky right now , why wasn't it in this unbothered empty sky where the moon used to sit ,why was his mother so panicked when mother found out , carefully leading him out to the valley as they cautiously looked out for those falling shards.

and now there was none , none of the nonsense (or so he thought) that mother and the whole world worried about , and the when his mother left him until its safe , he ran up and down the valleys ,and oh so hoping to not get lost in those big valleys underneath him.

and then it struck to him.

a shard had pierced into his skin ,where his heart was , and he cried out from the sudden pain , gripping his collared shirt tightely as the shard began to expand. it expanded till he couldn't feel his legs and arms anymore . it hurts , and it hurts bad.

and then he collapsed.

he collapsed onto the dark , deep valleys of his own home.
