Chapter 1 The Recognition
Once there was a girl christened Madeline As she recalls she must have been of about 10 years when she first realised that she was a little different.Well,not at all she was considered a special child but then why would she think so? She thought herself to be different because she was a little different by thoughts.
When she imagined kids of her age thinking the same things as her ,she felt like this was wonderfully weired.All this did not happen in a single day,it was depths of concealed thoughts for several days taken by her only to realise the possibility of something unique in her,that was much longer time than to understand that she fell sick much more often than the other kids.Well, that is also something different but still common for Madeline.
She thought that there were no limits to what she could acheive with such a brilliant mind.However,such great brain must have been inherited by one of her parents.She thought about her mother first-"No",she said to herself.Then her father-"Maybe,or I am the only legend in the family born for the good luck of my parents!"
Now that she had known she was different.She wanted to cherish her good points.She started to think about things like origin of universe,God-whether He is there or not,Purpose of human civillisation and so on.
Such topics were probably not for a kid to think about . Kids of her age should learn about Arithmetic, Geometry,Household chores and greeting guests maybe-Oh, Madeline was definitely special.This was a crucial time in her life indeed and before she could go in the depths of her deep thoughs about such things,she started to discover a new thing about herself-Madeline was an introvert.
She realised this not when she found everyone around her saying,"Why don't you speak something?","Why are you so quiet all the time?" or Com'on Maddie! Now it's you turn , say something!"but when she learnt about the word Introvert.She had actually found the qualities of introverts in her-Shyness,Curiosity,Analytical thinking and social anxiety. All the things people said to her for her quietness made her feel as though she was very dumb in reality and her broodings were also a sign which she thought to be her good quality. But then that she had learnt the term to describe herself in a better way, anyone who said that she was too quiet,received a bold reply from her as she said ,"I am an introvert".
