Chapter 1

I walked down the long hall, I had just come back from the bathroom, my long white gown swaying side to side, as I walked. Waking up extra early was to much work for me.

I couldn’t take it but today was a very important day so I had to. Walking down the hall I had finally made it to my room.

That was a long walk from the bathroom, I thought

Humming I walked back into my room the sun shining through her blue curtains and my small cat leaning against the window “hi Bell how are you” I looked at my cat Bell who jumps down from the window and made her way out of the room.

“I guess that was a no answer...”

I sighed, and sat down, on my bed the softness made me wanna go back to sleep. I need to get a dress or mom will be mad I walked to my closet and pulled out a bunch of clothes. “I guess I will wear this,”

I changed out of my nightgown, and I put the short white dress on before going to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror, my long blonde hair was very messy and my blue eyes all droopy.

Jeez, I look terrible...

brushed her long hair and left it down and walked downstairs to the kitchen “hi mom I’m ready to go” I waved to my mother who was putting her shoes on her mother was always in a good mood. But now I seem to notice a deep sorrow in my mother’s eyes. “What’s wrong mom?” Noelle asked.

“Oh nothing, honey I’m just a little scared about today I really I just hope you’re not chosen or your sister”

I walked over, to my mom, I didn’t like it when she was sad so I wrapped my arms around her, neck and gave her a hug. “Don’t be sad everything will be ok”. I whispered and I kissed her on the forehead and went outside to see my dad sitting on the bench that sat in front of our house.

“Hi Dad,” I said walking over to him

“Hi, darling you and your sister ready?” my dad asked, I could tell he was crying, he was wiping his eyes. I felt bad for my dad he had told me many times that he wanted this day to never come.

“Yeah, I’m ready also mom is ready too but let me go see if Chloe is ready” I ran upstairs to my sisters room and peeked inside my sister was sitting at the end of her bed with a picture in her hand I could tell she wasn’t in a good mood she had droopy eyes and her eyes were red.

“Something wrong?” I asked knocking on her door

“Oh-uh nothing is good”

I walked over and sat next to Chloe “it’s going to be ok I promise” I whispered and hugged her tight before letting go and getting up. “I know you will miss your boyfriend and all but trust me everything will be fine now let’s go its time” Noelle took the photo of her sister’s boyfriend and set it down on the bed and pulled her sister downstairs.

“Everyone ready?” my Dad asked,

I nodded and we got into the car and drove to the stadium
