โ€” Intro โ€”

The day I arrived seemed like something completely out of a dream, a place my thoughts couldnโ€™t fathom.

The wind in my hair, and the sun in my face โ€”

Things couldnโ€™t have amounted up to the beauteous scenery in which enveloped my being.

But, of course, things werenโ€™t exactly what they seemed, I having been shown this firsthand.

The town of Forkshill has a secret, and a dark one nonetheless.

The naked eye has a substantial way of tricking the perceiver.

Things were calm and collected during the day.

But when nightfall claimed the lands once more, whisking away what all of oneโ€™s sanity was left,

the creatures of the night had no trouble in revealing themselves.

I came to solve a murder, to figure out what patches of the case needed filling.

The Scott sisters cry out for justice, and justice is what I have yet to give them.

I am Janise Jackson, and this is my story.
